At the Vienna Autumn Fair in September 1958, the diesel-hydraulic locomotive with the designation LDU 600/s was presented to the public for the first time, developed by the Simmering-Graz-Pauker - Werk Wien. With a top speed of 60 km/h and a good 600 hp, it then was the most powerful and fastest narrow-gauge diesel locomotive in the world.

The machine, later known as ÖBB 2095, was presented by the SGP for its first public appearance as a brave, proud design that was not implemented for the railroad until last year. In 2020, NÖVOG took up the design, adapted it and refurbished the first of three machines in the colours of the district “Niederösterreich”. The big show, the narrow-gauge festival, unfortunately had to be postponed, but we can already introduce it on a small scale!

As at the autumn fair, the model will be delivered without lettering! The very extensive set of decals also allows ÖBB to try on the dashing color scheme. The modern V15 and V10 can be implemented as well as neutral or own railway lines. As is usual with the 2095 models, there are numerous upgrades to choose from. In addition to the classic Stängl drive with a noble Faulhaber motor, the models can be digitized or equipped with sound at the factory.
