A piece of contemporary history - The BVB's Reko coaches!
We are very pleased that the Reko models are so well received and are now adding another Reko train to the range, this time from the BVB fleet. The new models show the Reko coaches towards the end of the 80s to the beginning of the 90s, when they were running towards the "Wind of Change"!

BVB (VEB Kombinat Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe) was a separate BVG administration in East Berlin, founded in 1949 due to the division of Berlin and only merged again in 1992 as a result of reunification. Until then, BVG (West) and BVB (East) were valid.
The bi-directional vehicles were used from 1969 onwards to avoid the time-consuming shunting at the terminal stops without turning loops at the waterworks and in Altglienicke. The models of the single-direction vehicles are almost ready and will be presented soon. If you can't wait, you can order them now!
