Manchester Metrolink M5000 – now with ALX drive!

The Manchester Metrolink M5000 with car number 3096 is now available in a new drive version.

In the current version, the model is equipped with a revised drive system: two interconnected ALX coreless motors ensure especially smooth running and excellent driving performance.

In addition, the model features a NEM651 interface for easy digital operation. For optimal performance, we recommend the ZIMO MN170N decoder.

A real highlight and a must-have for all model tram enthusiasts, offering superb running quality and modern technology.

Note: A sustainable motorisation kit for the Manchester model is currently in preparation and will soon be available as a new item.

    Typically Viennese! Say what you like about us Viennese, but we know what we like and what we don't like! Back when ‘Der Ulf’ made its first rounds in Vienna with its unique design, highly innovative drive concept and the lowest entry height in the world, it was immediately clear to all of us that it was no good and would never be any good. The real trams we've been riding so far are much better, quieter, definitely more attractive and they even smell better.

    Let's get to work! Following numerous requests at our last in-house exhibition, our popular freight wagons are now also available in yellow! For the first time, we are offering freight wagons with two, one or no platforms, making the construction train more visually interesting and somewhat closer to the often quite diverse prototypes. All freight wagons are delivered with a fine, easily removable ballast load, which also serves as ballast.
