The run-up to Christmas is full of traditions that increase the anticipation of the festive season and make the whole world smell of eggnog punch and star sprays! Subjectively, the most important of these traditional traditions are the HALLING Anvent calendar and the FERRO-TRAIN Christmas trolley.

To our great sadness, we are unable to offer an Advent calendar this year! But we want to light a candle every Sunday in Advent and look forward to the Christkind together! The first Advent activity is the H0e mulled wine trolley from last year. Due to the much too late announcement, we have a few last pieces left over, which we now almost want to give away (insteat of € 169,00,- for festive € 85,00).

    News 2023.09 - The cog railway of FERRO-TRAIN

    40 years of cog railway models! 1983: Michel Jackson's album "Thriller" stays at number one in the US album charts for 37 weeks. The SPÖ becomes the party with the most votes, but loses its absolute majority, leading to Bruno Kreisky's resignation. And Gerhard Riedl aka GERARD launches the first kit models of a narrow-gauge cog railway modelled on the Austrian Schneeberg.

Bezau, once the terminus of the Bregenzerwaldbahn, is today the main town of the Bregenzerwald and the attractive starting point for a 5 km train ride in sync with the rhythm of the old days. The new wagon from Stängl Modellbahnen now also allows the wagons with the “Wälderbähnle” lettering to be put together to form a continuous set. The specially redesigned interior will allows an undisturbed visit to the toilet!
